New Home, New Beginning

Hello to all the Whimsical Wonderhaven fans! It's been a long time since I've blogged, so bear with me as I'm a bit rusty! You might have noticed we've been a little quiet the past few weeks. I was waiting until things were official to publicly let everyone know that we have been busy prepping our house to move, as well as house hunting (as much as one can safely during quarantine!). We've been rather picky, so it felt like we'd never find the right house, but fortunately we did! So as long as things goes smoothly, we should be officially closing and moving into our new home in a couple of weeks. Check out this awesome view from our new home!!!!

How does this effect Whimsical Wonderhaven? One of the big factors of us wanting to move is my husband and I needed more space for both of our businesses (he owns Mackes Workworking and is the builder of a lot of my really cool displays for shows and the shop in Virginia Beach). I'm excited to say that new location will provide exactly that! I'll finally have an official workspace for the business, and much more space for inventory as well. Which means I'll be able to provide more super awesome creations and Japanese imported merch online, at shows, and at our physical store. Well also be in a new town. We'll continue to keep our physical store in Virginia Beach, as well as when it's safe to do shows again, keep our normal show schedule for Hampton Roads and the East Coast. But moving in a brand new location means being able to expand to a new area as well, which we're definitely excited about. As to how this will effect online orders, we will currently only take very select custom orders for the next month. However, any in stock pre-made merchandise (clothing, accessories etc) will still be mailed out on time. So far we've seen all of our online orders arrive to their destination on time with zero issues, and we anticipate that will continue to be the case. As soon as we're moved in and have all of our belongings and business stuff out of storage, all custom orders will be able to resume.
